"I'm an agnostic," where agnosticism refers to belief in God but not in religion, sure is turning out to be one of the most annoying statements of teenage angst-driven iconoclasm ever. Sure, it's wrong of me to sound like I never went through that awful phase, but at least I knew my terminology, goddammit.
Nothing says idiot more than proclaiming your so-called agnostic beliefs -- in a shallow classroom discussion, no less, where half the people in class aren't even listening -- when you can't even explain agnosticism correctly. It's this kind of indiscriminate self-labeling that justifies the religious community's poor attitude towards irreligious people. Not everyone's that stupid, you know.
Oh nothing, just another school-related rant. Moral: Know what you're talking about. Please.
